It is so very freakin' hot! I hate summer...HATE IT! 'Tis the season to burn to a crisp and die of heat exhaustion.
I have, however, found a site where you can buy islands and even rent them...hmm...maybe that's what I need to do...rent an island. I'm sure the heat would be much more bearable if it was accompanied by ocean waves and palm trees.

Northern California sounds a lot like Southern Louisiana, only the humidity here will choke off all your oxygen...do you get snow in the winter? We haven't had a serious snow (more than just a few flurries) in my area in almost 20 years.
And the heat just goes on and on and on and on...
I guess I should be thankful that we don't have the humidity here.
I won't say we don't get any snow here because we do sometimes get trace amounts. About 20 miles up I-80 and you reach the snow line. This last winter was unbelievable! It seems like once it started snowing it just didn't want to stop.
